Programme > Topical discussions

The aim of these events is to provide an platform for a structured exchange of views and opinions on topics of current interest. They are intended to promote research pathfinding, kick-start collaborations, and build consortia able to target most ambitious research and technological challenges.

Monday, 16 June

  • Pathways to neuromorphic magnonics (joint session with partners of the MANNGA consortium)

As MANNGA project is approaching its culmination, its members will share both results obtained to date and ideas for continuation of the research, both within the funded period and in framework of new projects still to be formulated. Click here for the schedule.

Tuesday, 17 June

  • TRTM dictionary of magnonics: Introduction to challenge

The aims of creating the guide will be presented, to kick start the discussion for the rest of the conference. You can contribute to the work via this form, which will remain open until 22pm (BST) on Thursday, 19 June. The process is also described in this file

  • Panel discussion with speakers of days 1 and 2

The discussion will be centred around the topic of "ferromagnetic" magnonics and the ways who dimensionality of the studied structures influences magnonic phenomena and their perceived applications.

Thursday, 19 June

  • Panel discussion with speakers of days 3 and 4

The discussion will be centred around the relation between the properties (available or desired) of materials and their manifestations in hybrid magnonics, high-frequency spintronics, and ultrafast magnetism.

Friday, 20 June

  • TRTM dictionary of magnonics: Workshop

We will discuss the first version of the guide and will outline pathways for its further development. You can contribute to the work via this form, which will remain open until 22pm (BST) on Thursday, 19 June.
